Erin Mulrooney, a blues vocalist, had taken a 30 year hiatus from singing, then came back under the tutelage of Steve Hutchins at the Old Town School of Folk Music, and Pete Special, who pushed her to get comfortable on stage again at the Underground Wonder Bar open mic nights. Erin has collaborated on stage with many of Chicago’s blues greats (Billy Flynn, David Sims, Rockin’ Johnny Burgin, Martin Lang, Smiley Tillmon, Tom Holland, Mark Wydra, JR Wydra, and others) and has gigged on a Pullman Rail Car journey to New Orleans, as well as at many private events.
Join her and her kick-ass band of David Sims, Brian WIlkie, John Abbey, Mike Gorgo and Martin Lang with many special guests at her first EP release party - “There’s Always a Reason.” Saturday, July 30, 2016, 8-10:30 PM at the Underground Wonder Bar, where it all began!
