Join us for the OFFICIAL 27 Year Anniversary Party!

LOVEFEST will span 27 days in a row from October 27-November 22 and will lead up to two major benefit events: the Opportunity Knocks benefit November 19, 6pm-4am, and our own Official 27 Year Anniversary Party November 20, 6pm-3:30am. These days promise to be a continuous action-packed free-wheelin’ Fiesta for us to celebrate not only survival during hard times for the Chicago live music community but persevering to thrive despite the odds!

The Underground Wonder Bar began as a family business and has continued to create new families since 1989! We cannot count the number of marriages, communions, and even children(including Lonie’s 5 grandchildren!) that have resulted from a chance encounter within our walls. Of course, to us, “family” means our community of dedicated musicians and patrons alike. The LOVEFEST will feature known members of our forever family as well as future family.
