Come sign the list, get on stage and play some music in honor of Pete Special, former co-host of the weekly Open Mic Night at the UWB. Pete was a beloved musician in Chicago and beyond, from Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows, to Levon Helm and The Band, Lynn Jordan and the Shivers and The Pete Special Band, Pete Special and Yo’ Mama’s Boys and many other groups in between. Pete left us on March 11, 2014 and has been missed far and wide. Join Pete’s wife Tricia and other special guests in commemorating the one-year mark since Pete’s passing. Let’s make him proud!
